The Impact of Cultural Intelligence on the Adoption of Conflict Management Strategies between Iran Police Commanders and Managers (Case Study: Hormozgan Province Police Command)
The present study seeks to investigate the impact of cultural intelligence on the adoption of conflict management strategies among commanders and managers. This research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive and correlational in terms of research method. To collect the data, Ang et al. (2004) standard questionnaire of organizational intelligence and Robbins conflict management standard questionnaire (1994) were used. The statistical population of this study consisted of all employees of Hormozgan Police Command Headquarters. The sample was 214 according to Cochran formula. Inferential data were analyzed by SPSS software and Pearson correlation coefficient and regression and Friedman test were used. The results show that cultural intelligence has a direct impact on conflict management and its components. Also, according to Friedman test, control (competition) is in the first priority, orbital solution (cooperation and compromise) in the second priority and non-confrontation and non-competition (avoidance) is in the third and last rank.
