Identification of Organizational Factors Affecting Social Capital of Police
The organizational social capital helps the organization, besides maintaining its legitimacy, gain access to its necessary sources in the environment. Police does activities in an environment the public social trust in which profoundly influences its effectiveness and – more importantly – accepting its legitimacy. The organizational social capital represents a steady bilateral relationship with and organizational trust in its environment; and the police, as the public arm of the society, can make use of people's participation and collaboration for establishing security. An attempt has been made in this article to identify the organizational factors affecting the organizational social capital of NAJA. The study employs a fundamental theory as its method, and the snowball sampling continued until the data were complete. Findings indicate that five classes of organizational factors influence creation of social capital for the police, including: communicative channels, police performance, organizational policies, equipment, update facilities, achieving organizational goals, and the image of police.
