Abstract:

The author deals with issues such as the manifestation of modesty and chastity among men and women in the literature of the ignorant time and the extent of its prevalence and raises the question of whether the lack of proper attire of some women in the ignorant time means the lack of chastity culture or not. The author examines chastity in a number of indicators: seeing, speaking, hearing, sex, wine drinking, hiding love, patience, modest love, atire, and veil, and concludes that they are innate.
