Evaluating the Effectiveness of the training course "Character Education of TVT Students" Based on the Kirk Patrick Model
The main objective of this research was to evaluate the effectiveness of the educational period of the students' education in high school technical and vocational schools.
The present study was a applied research in terms of its purpose and in terms of implementation, it was a pre-test and post-test quasi-experimental research with control group. The statistical population of the study consisted of the students of the last year of the technical and TVT schools of Qom province. Among them, two groups of 30 were randomly selected using available cluster sampling. A researcher-made questionnaire was used in the third and ninth sessions to collect the data in the evaluation of the response level. In the assessment of the level of learning, the beginning of the pre-test period and at the end of the post-test period were performed for the experimental group. Descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation and variance) and inferential statistics (t-test) were used to analyze the data. The results of the data review showed that the average grades of students' reaction to evaluation at the beginning of the course differ from the end of the course and the average evaluation grades have been improved at the end of the course.
The study showed that the educational course is effective at the level of reaction and learning, and the average grades of assessment of the behavior of the students in the experimental group in the actual work environment are higher than the average grades of assessment of the behavior of students in the control group.
