The Steps to Develop a Comprehensive Suicide Prevention Strategy: A Narrative Review

Suicide is a kind perspective of behavioral multi-dimensional disorder that is associated with many factors. Suicide Prevention requires a global with national plan and local action. Developing a suicide prevention strategy requires attention to all levels of prevention, and it is possible to implement in cooperation with various institutions and ministries such as education, health and wellbeing, and culture. The purpose of this study was to determine the dimensions of a comprehensive suicide prevention strategy.According to the results of this study, it seems that the pathway to developing a suicidal prevention strategy for countries that have not yet started any activities on suicide prevention have been different with this pathway to developing a suicide prevention in countries that have been implementing at least a comprehensive suicide prevention plan or strategy. Therefore, it is imperative that each country, in accordance with its requirements and background and by relying on the precise definition of suicidal behavior and its stages, identifying the most important risk factors for suicide in each region and paying attention to all levels of prevention, setting up a comprehensive suicide prevention strategy
