One of the problems encountered recently by domestic organizations, in particular traffic police, is that employees of these organizations do not have a special interest in their jobs and organization, and their high level of enthusiasm and commitment to doing work is not seen at a high level of effectiveness. This research was conducted with the aim of predicting a job enthusiasm based on occupational characteristics and perceived support by the supervisor in the Traffic Police Staff of Khuzestan Province.
of all the Khuzestan police officers, who were 320, 175 were selected as available. The instruments of this study were included the job characteristics questionnaire, supervisor support questionnaire and job engagement questionnaire.
, Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression are used simultaneously In order to analyze the research hypotheses. The results of this study showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between job characteristics (except for the importance of the task) and job intentions at the level of p <0.001. There is also a positive and significant relationship between supervisor support with job intention at the level of p <0.001. Similarly, the results of regression analysis showed that there is a significant relationship between the components of job characteristics and supervisor support with job enthusiasm at the level of p <0.001. Among the predictor variables, job independence variables, supervisor support and feedback in each occupation, played the most role in explaining career enthusiasm.
Whatever employees have more understanding of organizational support and desirable job characteristics, It affects their performance and increases job enthusiasm for them.
