The Impact of Psychological Well-Being on Job Burnout of Khorram Abad Police Officers

Abstract:

Occupational burnout is a multidimensional construct that is caused by workplace stress, type of work, and frustration among employees, leading to negative changes in attitude, mood and behavior in the face of occupational stress. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of psychological well-being on job burnout of Rahmand Khorramabad police officers. This research is a descriptive, correlational, descriptive, correlational study. The study population consisted of Khorram Abad police officers in 2017, 122 persons were selected by simple random sampling method. Data were collected by psychological well-being and job burnout questionnaires. Was done. Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation and multiple regression with concurrent model. It shows that according to the correlation coefficient (0.68) 0.46% of variance of burnout of Khorramabad city police officers is predicted through psychological well-being, as well as environmental dominance variables 0.27% independence 0.25% positive relationship with others 0.19 personal growth 0.13 ؛ purposefulness in life 0.21, self-acceptance 0.15 predicted percent of variance in burnout of Khorramabad city police officers. Also, stepwise regression analysis was performed in 4 steps, dominating step five of psychological well-being. Environment, independence, positive relationship with others, and purpose in life remained in the analysis, with 0.47% of the variance elusive. Job burnout forecasted traffic police. The results indicate the importance of psychological well-being variables in predicting job burnout of traffic police officers. Therefore, the level of psychological well-being can be increased to improve the job burnout of the traffic police officers.
