A Study on the Ancient Iranian’s Thoughts in Relation to the Commentary of Nahj ol- Balaqeh by Ibn e- Abi Hadid

Abstract:

The extensive propagation of Iranian culture in Abbasid era, the outstanding presence of the Iranian in the court of caliphs and the scientific settings in this era were followed by Arabic Literature welcoming the ancient Iranian’s thoughts.In commentary of Nahj ol- Balaqeh, Ibn e- Abi Hadid has taken advantage of insightful themes of ancient Iran to explain the fifty parts of Amir al- Momenin’s speeches.Through the descriptive-analytical method of research, the present study tries to reveal that regarding the importance of the Iranian’s philosophy before Ibn e- Abi Hadid, he has not paid considerable attention regarding the selection of these philosophies and he has reported them without referring to their narrators or reported with an unknown character with title of a scholar. The Iranian’s philosophies narrated in the commentary of Nahj ol- Balaqeh by Ibn e- Abi Hadid indicates the intellectual-cultural concerns of the ancient Iranian are the political affairs, ethical affairs and science respectively.
