The Quran, while expressing stories in the surah “Kahf”, refers to the meeting of Moses with a scholar whose name has not mentioned explicitly, but the word “Abdan” is used for introducing him. However, he is called “Khezr” in the hadiths and according to the Quran’s explicit verses he has received considerable benefit from the divine knowledge directly through the God. This knowledge is given to individuals under certain circumstances, and some divisions are stated for it which Moses is commissioned to learn this particular knowledge by the prophet “Khezr”. This research utilizes library research methods, examines this knowledge, and also focuses on related definitions and conditions in order to highlight the dominant position of this scholar.
