Study of Effective Factors social security in border towns Case study : Sarakhs City
Security is the first requisite of a healthy society and a prerequisite for progress and achieve sustainable developed society. The sense of security paves the way to a healthy-developed social life. Having a productive society is depended on the preservation of security. Because of the spreading of cities and simultaneously social insecurities in the cities, particularly in the frontier cities, the study of security issues and related effective factors for improving security is inevitable. This study aimed to identify factors that affect the security of citizens in the frontier town of Sarakhs. Descriptive-analytical method is applied to this study. The study sample are all residents of Sarakhs in 1393. In the study, multistage cluster sampling method is used and sample size in this study is 247 people. The instrument used was a questionnaire that its validity through the content validity and reliability was determined by calculating Cronbach's alpha coefficient. For Data, analysis spss software has been used. The results indicate that the level of social security among the border town citizens of Sarakhs (on average) is favorable. There is a significant relationship between social security and gender, physical and social environment of the city and the police performance. Between social security and age variable and localness or non-localness of people, no correlation was observed. Finally, appropriate ways presented to promote social security in the border town of Sarakhs.
