The Effectiveness of Acceptance and Commitment therapy on Attachment Styles and Defensive Mechanisms of Female Heads of Households
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of acceptance and commitment therapy on attachment styles and defense mechanisms of female headed households.
The method of doing a semiexperimental research with a pre-test post-test design with a control group. After selecting two experimental and control groups, acceptance and commitment therapy is given to the members of the experimental group for 8 sessions of 90 minutes and the control group does not receive any training. After the end of the eighth session, the questionnaire will be returned to the members of both groups (test and control). By completing the questionnaires, the data will be prepared and submitted to the subjects by statistical analysis. The statistical population of this study is women headed by households in Tehran (2018), the number of subjects under study was 30 after the questionnaire of higher-ranking mechanisms, were selected and then randomly divided into two experimental and control groups Any 15 people will be replaced. Data were analyzed by multivariate analysis of covariance using SPSS 23 software.
The results of this study indicate that the acceptance and commitment therapy and commitment to attachment styles and defense mechanisms of female head of household in Tehran is effective. acceptance and commitment therapy to attachment styles in female headed households in Tehran is effective (At the 0.05 error level).
Considering the results, it can be concluded that the acceptance and commitment therapy can be an effective therapy to decrease the Attachment Styles and Defensive Mechanisms of Female Heads of Households through training concepts such as Identification of values, mindfulness and committed action.
