Presentation of crisis management model in rural areas (case study: villages of Qarchak city)
Iran is one of the most threatened countries in terms of geographical status. The continent has the world's first highest incidence of natural disasters and natural disasters, and Iran is the fourth largest country in the world after India, Bangladesh and China, and the sixth largest country in the world. In the meantime, rural areas are more vulnerable to urban sprawl because of close relationships with the natural environment and having limited capabilities. The threat of earthquakes and desert erosion, flood and drought invasions are threatened. Also, over 12,000 villages located near the rivers are also often at risk of flood. Regarding the importance of the subject in this research, the role of local management (Islamic councils and dejarities) in providing a model for the planning of natural hazards was discussed. The aim of the study is to investigate the role of local management in reducing the natural hazards in rural areas of Qarchak. This research is applied and descriptive-analytic. The library method and questionnaire were used for data collection and analyzed by SPSS software. The results of the analytical section also showed that the local managers' knowledge of the crisis management process is low. Local managers of the study area are aware of their role in the planning process to reduce natural hazards. There is a significant relationship between local managers' awareness of their role in planning. Type of attitude and level of knowledge of local managers in crisis management, affect their performance in planning to reduce natural hazards.
