Explaining the Effective Components in Designing the Cultural-Historical Spaces for the Development of the Urban Tourism Industry with Case Study of Urmia Historical and Cultural Heritage

Urmia city,despite its long history due to many factors throughout history, has already retained relatively few historical monuments.But these works are valuable and require physical and functional protection for the continuity of the historical identity of the city anyway can play an important role in attracting tourists to this cultural-historical city.The research suggests that tourism industry is very weak in the cultural dimension and needs more attention. One of the most effective ways of reviving and recognizing these monuments seems to be the redesign of cultural-historical spaces in the city. The present study seeks to investigate the effective components in the design of historical-cultural spaces,while extracting these components will be used as the basic principles for redevelopment of these spaces,Can provide the field of tourism development from the cultural dimension of the city and region. In this regard, will focus on the issues and related concepts of cultural tourism through the use of descriptive-analytical method and in the library and documentary studies.Further information is obtained through field studies using a questionnaire. It will be analyzed with the help of spss software.The results of the research indicate that there is a meaningful relationship between the redevelopment of historical-cultural spaces and urban tourism industry.And the components of maximum prediction of green spaces and waterfalls, providing services and amenities, providing recreational amenities and cleanliness of the city are in the top of the list of the most important factors in the design of these spaces from the perspective of tourists in the city
