Explaining the effects of Livelihoods (Livestock) on rural development Case Study: Rostam Abad North Village of Rudbar
The main purpose of this paper is to explain the effects of livelihoods on rural development. The main question of this paper is whether the employment created by livestock activities enables rural development in its various dimensions? This research has been done through field and library research. Questionnaire, face-to-face interview, observation and photo were used in field method. The library method used documents, reports of organizations, government agencies, books, internal articles, publications, statistics, some research projects, and related theses. Descriptive-correlational method using SWOT model was used for data analysis. In this research, using SPSS software was calculated and 0.741 as the total coefficient was obtained. Its validity was also validated for use with indicators used in previous studies as well as with experts and experts in sustainability studies. The statistical population of the paper includes 210 active livestock households in 20 villages of North Rostam Abad village with 2074 large livestock and 3810 small livestock totaling 5884 livestock. Based on 210 livestock households, the whole community of livestock farmers was given a questionnaire and completed face to face and classified according to the following table.
