Iranian Police Approach to Participatory Criminal Policy
Dynamic criminal policy countries have community-based police organizations that rely instead on repressive and coercive tools to deal with crime in the light of widespread and constructive engagement with all elements of society, especially the public and Social institutions enjoy the support of society in establishing public order. Such an interaction symbolizes the concept of participatory criminal policy. The purpose of this study is to explain the police approach to order and security, to explain and explain the importance of public participation, and to explain the context and requirements for the development of participatory criminal policy in Iranian police and Iranian society.
The study is applied in terms of purpose and in terms of method, it is a document and is a tool for data collection.
The police in their new approach to organizational changes, revising the structure of the NAJA and creating new classes, preparing annual, five-year plans and vision papers in the horizon of 1404 e. By conducting inspections and strict monitoring of staff and organization performance, it seeks to perform part of its duties with the participation of the public, while striving to perform as efficiently, expeditiously as possible during police service.
The results show that a positive, community-based and knowledge-based approach, as well as the development of a participatory criminal policy in the Iranian police, require further changes in structure and organization, attention to professional and social police, application of new technologies.
