Gender Disparity and Personality, Psychological and Social Factors Affecting it Among People with Gender Identity Disorder Awaiting Gender Change

Sexual disorder is a strong and continuous tendency of the patient to be in the role and status of the opposite sex, which insists on belonging to the opposite sex in this disorder, accompanied by severe dissatisfaction with biological sex, which in the adolescence is more representative of the formation of identity. Therefore, in this research Sexuality disorder and personality, psychosocial and social factors (gender identity, maladaptive schemas, sketchy subjectivities, the role of extreme redress and avoidance) affecting it among sexually transmitted sexual dysfunction patients. The research method was a cross-sectional survey on a small scale that was selected from among sexually transmitted individuals who were referred to a psychiatric clinic using a targeted sampling of 17 adolescents aged 14 to 17 years. The data collection tool, the short form of the Multidisciplinary Personality Questionnaire of Minnesota McCain Lee (1943), the short form of Yang's Maladaptive Schema (2005), Yang's Schematic Subjectivity Questionnaire (2008), Yang Rai's Extreme Compensation Questionnaire (1994) and Yang Rae's Avoidance Questionnaire 1994). The validity of the questionnaire was 0.81 by calculating the Cronbach's alpha coefficient for gender identity disorder. Pearson correlation between variables of research with gender identity disorder and correlation coefficient and coefficient of determination of personality, psychological and social factors and gender identity disorder and regression coefficients of social variables and gender identity disorder.
