A Comparative Study of the Effectiveness of the Multifaceted Therapy based on Islamic Approach and Logo therapy on Increasing Perceived Social Support for the Women Affected by Extramarital Relations
This study is classified as quasi-experimental survey. It is organized on a pretest-posttest basis consisting of two groups: experimental and control group. This study seeks to compare multifaceted psychotherapy based on Islamic approach with logo therapy on increasing perceived social support for the women affected by extramarital relationships in Tehran district five. To this end the quasi-experimental survey is done on 30 people who have extramarital relationship. They were purposefully selected, randomly sampled divided evenly into two experimental groups 1 and 2. The first group received multifaceted psychotherapy based on Islamic approach. The second group received logotherapy. Both groups completed the questionnaire about perceived social support ZMET before and after the medical intervention. A kind of mixed analysis of variance within the test was used for analyzing the data. The results show that multi-faceted psychotherapy based on Islamic approach and logotheraphy could increase the perceived social support for the woman affected by beach of trust and this effect lasted for two months. There is no difference between multifaceted psychotherapy based on Islamic approach and logo therapy in increasing perceived social support. Accordingly, multi-faceted psychotherapy based on Islamic approach and logotherapy can be used to increase perceived social support for the suffering woman affected by extramarital relations and reduce the harm which it cases.
