Presentation of Value Engineering Model for Optimization of Architectural Solutions to Reduce the Vulnerability of the Buildings Building Vital to Terrorist Threats
The importance and necessity of the operation of vital office buildings as well as their multiplicity in urban environments make it possible to create human-made threats such as terrorist threats to such buildings, but one of the constant concerns of non-active defense industry activists is the ability to operate and the effectiveness of defense solutions. Hence, with the concern of implementing ineffective defense strategies and measuring the effectiveness of solutions to their implementation costs, the best way to integrate the concepts of passive defense and value engineering is to provide a model of value engineering, Creative Approach, Functionality Oriented and organized with the aim of identifying unnecessary costs and enhancing the effectiveness of defense strategies. Therefore, this article attempts to address the vulnerability of vulnerable office buildings to one of the most effective parts of this asset. In this regard, we have tried to review the literature on value engineering and effective implementation strategies in Enclosure, proposed solutions should be prioritized according to the principles of engineering value. Using the SMART methodology, firstly, effective criteria were determined in the prioritization of the solutions. Then, using the recommended criteria, the recommended solutions were prioritized, the most important input control solution and the guard gate setpoint with a coefficient of 7.6.
