Explaining the Challenges of Implementing Third Generation Accreditation Measures from the Perspectives of Kermanshah Hospitals Managers: A Qualitative Study
Evaluation of hospitals with accreditation model and obtaining opinions and suggestions of senior and middle managers of centers is essential for increasing the existing models. The purpose of this study was to explain the challenges of implementing third generation accreditation measures from the perspectives of Kermanshah hospitals managers.
This is a qualitative study with content analysis approach. This was done with the participation of 30 senior and middle managers of selected hospitals in Kermanshah province. The interviews were semi-structured and individual sessions were conducted. The data were analyzed by content analysis using Max Q software.
Given the results of the 6 main themes of the challenges in implementing third generation accreditation measures from the perspective of senior and middle managers, including evaluator-related, hospital-related, evaluation-time-related, nature of measures, related to The staff of the university staff and finally related to the announcement of the results were presented.

Therefore, it is recommended that the above considerations be considered by the authorities in the review of accreditation standards.
