The role of social media in student information behavior (Case Study: Yazd High School Students)
The aim of this study was to investigate the role of social media in stimulating the intelligence behavior of Yazd high school students. The present study is applied in terms of purpose and is "quantitative research" in terms of approach. The statistical population of this study included high school teachers in Yazd city, which according to the 1397 education census, over 2000 people. Using the Cochran's formula, 323 people were selected by simple sampling as a statistical sample. The tool used in this study is a researcher-made questionnaire with a five-point Likert scale. To determine the validity of the content of this questionnaire, an expert judgment test was used and Cronbach's alpha method was used to evaluate the reliability of the questionnaire, which was 0.724. The statistical method of this research is exploratory and analytical factor analysis which has been used to validate and reliability of independent and dependent variables of the mentioned analyzes. The results of this study show the positive and significant effect of social media on students 'information behavior. Research also shows that using social media reduces stress, quick and easy access to information resources, increases students' awareness, and group learning. Brings to them.
