Relationship between religious beliefs and educational well-being with spiritual health in high school students
The purpose of this research was investigated the Relationship between religious beliefs and educational well-being with spiritual health in high school students.
Research method was descriptive-correlative and the statistical population of this study was all students of high school students in Tabriz in the academic year of 2018-2019. For sample selection, a sample of 400 individuals was selected using cluster random sampling method. Data were collected by Arian Religious Questionnaire (1999), Pitrinen et al. (2014) and Pulotzin and Ellison (1982) Psychological Well-being Scale. Data was analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficient, step by step, regression and all the processes have been calculated by SPSS software. The results showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between religious beliefs and educational well-being with spiritual health. In fact, with the increase of religious beliefs and academic well-being, spiritual well-being of students also increases. Also, the results of regression analysis showed that gender variables, religious beliefs and educational well-being can predict spiritual health changes in students.
Therefore, based on the findings and considering the importance of religion in educational well-being, it is possible to provide an effective step to improve mental health of the students by presenting therapeutic plans and especially prevention plans.
