Making validation and verifying the meaning of life test based on Islamic resources

This research has been conducted to measure the meaning of life inindividuals based on Islamic sources. In the theoretical part of the article, adescriptive method was used. For this purpose, of the examined 2000 versesof the holy Book of Quran and narrations ,142 items were chosen out ofwhich 35 indices were extracted from them, and to add to the reliability ofthe research, these indices were given to the experts to be reviewed. Bytaking into account the point of views of the experts, this number fell to 21toreach a consensus and with a further review and removal of the ones thatoverlapped the number of indexes reached to 9. In the practical section, adescriptive survey method was used. For this purpose, the test questionswere prepared and the reliability of this study was verified by three methodsbased on the internal consistency based on the descriptive reliability of theretest.The validity was confirmed through three methods of criterion validity(divergent convergence and expert polls) whose figures are presented inChapter 4and 5in the "The answer to questions” part, and its standardizationwas conducted by testing the test questions on a sample of four hundred andeight subjects.In this way, a test was designed with standard reliability and validity tomeasure the meaning of life in people based on Islamic sources, which canbe used in research and counseling.Key words: Test the meaning of life, Credit, Narrative, Islamic resources
