An Empowerment Model of Managers of Vocational Health Education and Training Centers in Non-governmental Sectors: A Case Study
The present study aimed to present an empowerment model for managers of vocational health education and training centers in non-governmental sectors.
This qualitative research was carried out based on the grounded theory approach. The study population was faculty members and managers of Academic Center for Education, Culture and Research (ACECR). Purposive sampling technique was used to select the sample. In total 21 participants were interviewed to reach theoretical saturation.
The findings indicated that the empowering managers of vocational health education and training centers are influenced by various factors. The model was proposed having 3 causal components, 4 mediator components, 7 strategic components, 4 background components and 6 outcome components. The theory is represented at the selective coding stage (theorizing) according to the research results.
Empowering the managers of educational centers needs more attention in ACECR. The present model can be used as a suitable solution to improve the empowerment of manager of vocational health education and training Centers.
