Appraisal of Fattened Calf Breeders' Cooperative Role of Hamedan Province in Enhancingcapability (Economic and Technical) of Cooperative Ranchers

Cooperatives in the different economic, social and service sectors act as intermediaries between the government and the people and on creating and improving the spaces mentioned of businessare impressive. Hamadan province whit plenty of possibilities, has good conditions for breeding meat in the country and role of cooperatives in the success of this industry in the province can be effective nationally. This research was aimed at appraisal of fattened calf breeders' cooperative role of Hamedan province in enhancing capability (economic and technical) of cooperative ranchers. This study in terms of overall approach is quantitative andin terms of data collection and analysis is descriptive and causal. The study population consisted of member and non-member of fattened calf breeders' cooperativein Hamadan province (n = 9424) that using Cochran formula and randomized stratified sampling method from both groups 150 individuals were examined.The tool for gathering data was a researcher-made questionnaire whose validity was confirmed by the opinion of 15 experts and its reliability was confirmed by Cronbach's alpha coefficient (0.80 value). The results showed that age, level of education and livestock capacity havesignificant relationship with membership in livestock cooperatives. Also in spite of their high membership background, most members are dissatisfied with their cooperative, while the results showed that membership in cooperatives has increased red meat production and member technical knowledge.
