Investigating and Prioritizing the Borders Obstruction Consequences of the Southeast of Iran (Case Study: Saravan)
Providing social and economic needs is interconnected with security. Today, the increasing effects of security and development have attracted the attention of scholars and experts, so that the concepts of the degree of insecurity, backwardness, development and security are considered together. This study’s purpose is applicable and uses a descriptive-analytical method. The population of the study is the experienced experts and professionals in the field of border studies. With the help of purposeful sampling method, 30 experts were selected to complete questionnaires. The required data were collected through carrying out structured interviews and distributing L. Saaty’s 9 scale questionnaire. Validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by the experts. The reliability of the questionnaires was also confirmed by examining the incompatibility of the obtained decision matrices from the judgment of each of the respondents. The results of the study showed that the social consequences with the highest weight of 95% were the most important consequences and the political-security consequences with the weight of 0.0056% were the least important among the examined outcomes. The results also showed that among the social consequences as the most important consequence, the intensification of unemployment and the increase of boundaries migration were the most important effects of the border obstruction plan implementation in the Saravan.
