Analysis of the role of geopolitical components in the foreign policy of the Persian Gulf countries

The effect of geographical and climatic factors on political behavior,it is an old trend rooted in human history.Geopolitical theorists argue that geographical factors, especially the geographical location of each country, play a decisive role in national power and the orientation of its foreign policy. They see foreign policy behavior as a function of their geographyand they analyze the decision-making of national policymakers within the framework of geopolitical requirements. The main purpose of this dissertation is to analyze the role of geopolitical components in the foreign policy of countries in order to manage Iran's regional crises in the Persian Gulf. The main question of the article is what are the roles of geopolitical components in the foreign policy of the Persian Gulf countries? The method of this research is descriptive-analytical. The findings of the article show that the components of political geography are the main causes of crises in the Persian Gulf region. Successful foreign policy in crisis management in the Persian Gulf region requires the use of political geography knowledge.
