Evaluating the Physical Resilience in Urban Districts using ELECTRE Technique (Case study: Region 5, Tehran City)
In recent decades, irreparable damages and losses due to a significant increase in natural disasters throughout the world have caused the resilience approach to be considered in the face of the unforeseen incidents.Tehran city, which is one of the largest cities of the country, is located in the high and very high seismic hazard zone and in recent years its uncontrolled and unplanned growth has leaded to the collapse of the city's spatial order, which These factors increase the vulnerability of Tehran to earthquake risk. The region 5 in the northwest of Tehran, due to the northern main fault of Tehran in the northern edge of the region, is located in the danger zone with a relatively high destruction severity. Accordingly, this research aims to assess the physical resilience of areas in region 5 of Tehran in the face of the earthquake using ELECTRE technique. The present research is an applied research and with a descriptive-analytic method. In this regard, according to literature review, the effective indicators in the increase of physical resilience have been extracted. Then, Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and ELECTRE techniques were used in order to evaluate and analyze. Finally, according to the findings, some suggestions are proposed in order to achieve the purpose of research.
