Investigating the Relation Between Practicing Prayer and Self-Control in High School Girls in Mashhad

This research studies the relationship between practical commitment to prayer and sexual restraint in high school girls in Mashhad in 1397. The research method was descriptive-correlational and the statistical population was all female high school students in Mashhad, 300 of them were selected by cluster random sampling. In order to collect data, the girls' self-control questionnaire, the attitude scale and practical commitment to prayer were used. Descriptive statistics - frequency, mean, standard deviation, correlation coefficient, multiple regression-data were determined using descriptive statistics and then analyzed using inferential statistics, multivariate analysis of variance. The results showed that there is a relationship between positive attitude and practical commitment to prayer with girls' sexual self-esteem. Also, positive attitude and practical commitment to prayer between different disciplines and educational backgrounds have significant differences and sexual restraint also in the field Different educational backgrounds have a significant difference.
