Capacities and Challenges of the Culture of Nationalism in Consumption in Support of Domestic Consumption
Consumption management emphasizing the general policies of reforming the consumption pattern and promoting the consumption of domestic goods, which is one of the general policies of the resistance economy, implies that researchers in the Islamic economics need to have a more accurate understanding of the factors influencing the consumer’s tendency towards foreign goods. Using a descriptive-analytical method, this paper examines the effective reasons behind the tendency of consumers towards foreign and domestic products. The findings show that, the affecting variables on the types of consumption are divided into eighteen categories, which every one of them is effective in guiding the consumer’s tendency towards the domestic or foreign goods. Managing society’s tendencies towards domestic goods has various effects such as, increasing employment rate, consumption management, reducing imports and the welfare of society.
