Abstract:

Mahmoud Taymour and Morteza Motahhari are among the intellectuals who, in addition to their significant political presence in the two Iranian and Egyptian revolutions, also have a special place in Persian and Arabic literature. The difference between these two thinkers is that, Taymour, who lived in the time of Arab modernity, the time of change in Arab socio-political life, went beyond traditions and wrote stories regarding Muslim superstition; but, contrary to this approach, Motahhari, given the conditions prevailing in Iranian society, abandoned his work “Philosophy and the Method of Realism” and wisely wrote true stories regarding Islam to show that the true face of Islam is not only those superstitions. In this book, Allame martyr Motahhari has presented many Shiite intellectual and principles in the form of stories. Using a documentary-comparative method, this paper studies the structure, content, differences, similarities, as well as the role of short stories of martyr these two thinkers in the formation of the two revolutions in Iran and Egypt.
