The revolution of the social media and its effects on political sociability (With emphasis on Iranian society)

Today, the new interactive media have created a special position in the politics world and have provided an environment in which citizens can express their Comments and opinions freely and with no concern about the politics, society governors, and politician’s actions. According to inclusive usage of new social and interactive media by most strata and different age categories of Iranian society, and high amount of time that citizens and especially teenagers and youth spend in this media, the main theory of this research is that the political sociability process has endured different changes. This changes have enfeebled the role and effect of different traditional factors such as family, school, religion...etc. In general, the formal education has weakened in this process and the role of new interactive media has invigorated deeply. In order to survey this theory, studding the documents and available references is used. The Studies about this theory shows that, although traditional factors play an important role in political sociability of citizens yet, but the new interactive media also have strong effects on the political sociability process, much stronger than effects which media have had generally heretofore.
