The Critique of the Doubt of Some Prophets Betraying the People
The prophets did not let up fulfilling the divine mission and benevolence for the people. However, some have spoken of betrayal based on a number of incorrect narrations about some prophets, such as David and the Holy Prophet. While they are immune from betrayal to God and people. In addition to the general rule of the Qur'an about the prophets being immune from betraying the people, this divine book mentions some prophets, such as Ishmael ibn Hezqil, Yusuf, Moses, and the Holy Prophet, who were immune from betraying the people. There is a doubt about the betrayal of the divine messengers, which is due to ignorance or ill will. In the current paper, the doubt of some prophets betraying the people has been examined and answered and their immunity from betraying the people has been proven and clarified. The prophets are far from the behaviors that the Holy Quran considers as betrayal of the people, such as misappropriation of people's property, desecration of honor, discovery, and disclosure of secrets, and negligence of the people. The prophets are immune from the behaviors that the Holy Quran considers as betrayal to the people, such as misappropriation of people's property, rape, discovery, and disclosure of secrets, and breaching people's promise. In this paper, which has been carried out in the form of doubt studies and through using library method and documentary analysis, while responding to two cases of doubt about Prophet David and the Holy Prophet's betrayal, it has been concluded that the prophets are immune from betraying the people.
