A glance to the understanding of Christion theology about the critique of the Doctrine of trinity in Quran

Abstract:

The Doctrine of trinity is one of theological and controversial disputes among the Islamic and Christion scholars. Quran has stated an explicit and vigorous criticism about this doctrine as the content of Quranic verses censure the Polytheism in general and Trinitarian in particular. In new ages, certain Christion theologians have sought to construe and explain with historical and approximational approach, some Quranic verses differently which had criticized the trinity in particular; they have asserted that the critique of Quran is about the belief of Marian trinity which was prevailing in pre-Islam whilst the idea is inconsistent with major content of verses. In this paper, with a analytical and descriptive method and based on librarian system, has demonstrated that according to the verses and Islamic exegetes, all kind of Polytheism which included the Marian trinity and Holy Spiriting trinity is problematic and if supposed the accuracy of this claim, the inclusive of Quranic critique is comprising their understanding and analyzing of trinity as well.
