Abstract:

To identify weather types of Maragheh, were used peripheral and circulation databases. Circulation databases Includes geopotential height data in level of 500 hPa was received from the database that NCEP / NCAR affiliated with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric United States of America. Environmental database contains data for nine climate variables (mean maximum temperature, mean minimum temperature, dew temperature, relative humidity, pressure, precipitation, wind speed, temperature, dry temperature, wet temperature) taken up on a daily basis in the period 01.01.1984 to 29/12/2010 from Meteorology organization and have been used in identify weather types. Database was formed by Mat lab software in 9 × 8034 matrix with P Makeup.In the database was considered 8034 Day as rows and 9 columns as a climate variable. After standardization and elimination the years without data, data matrix was formed the 9 × 8030. Then a cluster analysis method has been incorporated into the standard matrix for identify weather types.Six distinct weather types are found for Maragheh: Barshmnd type, temperate, cold and dry, cold and dry with wind, hot and dry, ice. For each type, as determined by a representative. The findings in this study were obtained Suggest that the level of 500 hPa as the intermediate layer plays a key role in creating and directing atmosphere circulation systems. Significant relationship exists between atmospheric circulation patterns in middle level and climate event in Maragheh. The role of Arabia and North Africa high System emerged in governance Warm and dry conditions and Mediterranean landing and cold air masses of polar in governance cold period.
