Using Roy Care Pattern on Home Remedies for Mental Illness
Affliction of a family member to mental illness exerts considerable pressure and concern on other members of the family. The mental burden imposed by the care of a psychiatric patient can reduce the physical and mental health of caregivers as a concealed disease. And in general it reduces the quality of the person’s care. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the effect of education based on Roy adaptation pattern on the quality of life of careers of psychiatric patients.
The present article is a review article that uses internet resources including (Science Direct, SID, PubMed, and Google Scholar), library resources and theses have been developed with key words (Quality of life, Roy Adaptation Model, Career of mental disorder) over the years 2006 to 2018.
The home caregivers are fit for a variety of caring roles, emotions such as grief, hot eyes. Anger, joy and frustration, and feeling of guilty and shameful sentiment. In addition to living conditions, families also suffer a lot of social, financial, economic and social problems. In order to improve the quality of life, careers have proved the effectiveness of psychological education.
Discussion and Conclusion:
Regarding the fact that care pressure can affect the quality of life of caregivers, it was necessary to provide training for mentally ill careers in order to reduce the care burden in the caregiver and to plan it down.
