Future Studies of Iran's Regional Strategy in the Light of the Yemeni Crisis
One of the most important challenges and international problems in West Asia region is the crisis in Yemen and the instability and unrest caused by this crisis in the region, which has led to significant regional and international effects and consequences. These dramatic developments, which are becoming far more widespread every day, are taking place in one of the most strategic points of the world. The direct and indirect presence of some regional and trans- regional countries in the form of direct dispatch of military forces to Yemen, or the provision of counseling services and weapons or embarking on proxy wars have increased the complexity and duration of the crisis in this country, and had some consequences for the future of regional strategy of Islamic Republic of Iran as the most active player in West Asia and Persian Gulf. The main question is: what are the effects of the Yemeni crisis and the possible future scenarios in this country on the regional strategy of Iran in West Asia and Persian Gulf. This research is not a hypothesis of the test and it intends to use the descriptive-analytical method and with a futuristic approach based on "scenario" and the grounded theory in a constructivism theoretical frame of reference, to address the developments in the Yemeni crisis and the future actions of the various groups advocated by Saudi Arabia and The United Arab Emirates in Yemen and future scenarios of the Yemeni crisis will examine their impacts on the regional strategy of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
