Abstract:

Contrary to the era before Reza Shah, the two powers of Russia and Britain played a decisive role in shaping and directing Iran's foreign policy, Iran's foreign policy in the era of Reza Shah in all respects was an attempt to gain independence from the great powers, especially Britain. . What causes and factors in changing the orientation of Iran's foreign policy from the pure dependence on the great powers (Russia and Britain) in the years before the 1299 coup; towards independence from the great powers (UK) and attempting to maximize national uninterrupted interests These powers have been involved in the important question that this article intends to look at and respond to.The hypothesis of this article is that the increase in the level of national power of Iran in general at that time would inevitably require a more active and independent role in foreign policy, ultimately the endeavor of the emerging player Iran, the era of Reza Shah to play a new role, Led to a tension in Iran's relations with the country of hegemony (UK). According to the author, using the theory of rotation of powers, the role of Charles Duran could better be answered by the question of the history of Iranian diplomacy. The method of research in this paper is a descriptive-analytical method based on historical data.
