Abstract:
The Islamic Revolution of Iran achieved triumph by focusing on cultural issues and overcoming the cultural elements. This overcame the expectation of cultural behavior from the Islamic Republic in the domestic and international arena. Among all types of public diplomacy, cultural diplomacy played an essential and influential role. These factors have made cultural diplomacy very important in the Islamic Republic. This article attempts to study the strategies of the executive forces in the Islamic Republic of Iran in different periods and in accordance with their discourses. However, cultural diplomacy in the Islamic Republic is not limited to the executive branch, and various institutions are working together. Institutions that operate under some of the executive branch and some under the supreme leadership. This article studies the cultural diplomacy between the presidency of Ayatollah Khamenei to Hojatoleslam Rouhani in the field of cultural diplomacy. The method of research in this article is a combination discourse and institutioalism.
