Abstract:

The influence of gender and its related presuppositions is one of the issues in understanding religious texts. Hence, in recent decades, with the advent of the feminist movement and women's reading of religious texts, The recovery of women's rights has been on the rise. Among the contemporary scholars who have read the verses of the Qur'an in the field of women is Amina Wadud, an American-African-Muslim scholar who has recently interpreted the verses under the influence of Fadl al-Rahman. This research intends to use descriptive-analytical method and documentary tools; While explaining Amina Wadood's thought and method in interpretation, he should apply his views to the thoughts of Ayatollah Javad Amoli. The results of the analytical study of these two personalities show that the gender of the interpreter, in the interpretation of the Qur'an, if it is free from any gender presuppositions and prejudices, and if his interpretation is done in a scientific and fair manner; It will not have much effect.
