The Legal Status of the Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution in the Context of Iranian Government and Its Relationship with Triple Powers and Other Institutions
The Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution has been considered as a policy maker, strategy determiner, decision maker and direction of cultural, educational and research affairs of the country, in the context of general policies of the Islamic regime, decisions of which being binding and considered as law. With this approach certain assignment such as “correction and elevation of culture and alignment of cultural affair in order to maintain and enhance the religion-based culture of the people, and to realization of the new Islamic civilization, is defined.The mentioned council in order to fulfill its duties has close relationship with the triple institutions as provided by the 57th principle of The Constitution (Parliament, Executive and The Judiciary) and also other institutions such as The Leadership Office and The Expediency Council. Because these institutions are the key decision making centers and the principle organs in governing of the country. Thus every particular role of every institution has to lead to these organs. This paper after the exact expression of The Council in the context of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran, will discuss the relationship of the mentioned council with the triple institution(as provided by the 57th principle of The Constitution) and with other organs.
