Requirements for designing the performance evaluation system of Islamic Republic of Iran Army universities faculty members with the approach of the law of necessary diversity
The development of higher education, as one of the main infrastructures for the development of any country, is of great importance and plays a significant role in laying the groundwork, capacity building, culture building and sustainable development. Despite all the successes and taking into account the conditions of the country, it must be acknowledged that higher education faces many challenges and problems. One of the major challenges is the evaluation of the performance of faculty members of the country's universities, including the Army Universities of the Islamic Republic of Iran, according to the current promotion regulations. The present study, with the premise of the need to redesign the performance evaluation system of faculty members of Army universities, has been done by Delphi method and has provided significant requirements in this regard according to the law of necessary diversity. Identify and apply approaches and methods of appropriate performance evaluation to the mission of Army universities, performance evaluation based on the three stages of the learning cycle (planning, implementation and evaluation); designing a balanced evaluation system; Comprehensive performance evaluation (educational, research, cultural and executive dimensions) by applying logical coefficients for each dimension, different and diverse design of performance evaluation system of university faculty members according to activities in various fields such as humanities, Technical and engineering and according to the scientific rank, with the approach of paying attention to the relevant force in Army, and considering the educational or research nature of the faculty membership in this regard, will be considered.
