Abstract:
Obstacles of Social Thinking among Iranian Sociologists Thinking is any intellectual activities to solve a problem, challenging situation or improve exist situation. The important of social thinking is without that there is no possibility of solving social challenges also sociology can’t access to its prophecy. The analysis of article is based on theoretical analysis, observations and experiences of author. Main emphasize in the article is that basic condition of thinking is self-founded rationality and essential precondition to access this, is release from any domination which is threatened that. These dominations are micro-scale rather than macro-scale and they are mental and related to values and normative patterns which are exist in life of Iranian sociologists. These dominations limited the possibility of social thinking among them. Examples of these dominations and limitations are routinizing, lack of problem-focused thinking, abstain of theoretical analysis, lack of production sociological review and refer to references as virtue.
