The effectiveness of resilience training on improving the quality of life and psychological toughness of women heads of households
The present study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of resilience training on improving the quality of life and psychological toughness of female-headed households. The research method was quasi-experimental with a pre-test-post-test design with a control group. The statistical population of the study was all women heads of households under the auspices of the Kermanshah city relief committee in 1397. Among these women, 30 were selected by available available purposive methods and then randomly assigned to two groups of 15 experimental and control. For data collection, the World Health Organization (QFQ) Quality of Life Questionnaire and Ahwaz Psychological Hardiness Questionnaire (AHI) were used. After the pre-test, the experimental group in 8 weekly sessions of 90 minutes, resilience training based on theory Henderson received a post-test for both groups and the results of analysis of covariance showed that resilience training significantly increased the mean scores of quality of life components (excluding physical health and environmental health) and psychological toughness in women.
