Comparison of the Type and Level of Interest of Adolescents and Young People in Media Used in Police Education
The aim of this study was to compare the type and level of interest of adolescents and young people in media used in police education. The method of this research was a descriptive survey. The target population includes adolescents and young people in Hamedan. Through a multi-stage cluster sampling method and using Krejcie and Morgan table, a sample of 400 people was selected and a researcher-made questionnaire (media preference) was distributed among the selected samples. The validity of the questionnaire was calculated using the opinions of seven media experts and its reliability was calculated by calculating Cronbach's alpha of 0.85. Then, descriptive and inferential statistical indicators such as one-group t-test, Friedman test, two-variable chi-square test and two two-variable chi-test were used to analyze the questions. The results of this study showed that the rate of use of media by adolescents and young people in Hamedan is above average and their interest in receiving police training programs is first the audio-visual media and then the media: Video and audio are multisensory media, video media, audio media and print media.
