Ethical governance in the public sector from the perspective of Nahj al-Balaghah
The system of governance in any society is inextricably linked with the system of values of that society. Values guide the government in the field of action and policy-making. Understanding the true values is a sensitive and complex matter for decision makers and rulers. Values are referring to authentic religious texts such as Nahj al-Balaghah. Imam Ali (AS) Nahj al-Balagheh explains the nature of his rule which is based on the prophetic ethics. The view of Nahj al-Balaghah This research is qualitative and the jurisprudential-ijtihad approach has been used. The data have been extracted from the text of Nahj al-Balagheh book. To validate the discovered themes, text-based in-depth method has been used.
Managers, by recognizing the nature of jobs and employees, can pursue governance goals with an ethical governance approach. And weigh the goals with evaluation criteria such as: promoting justice, gaining public satisfaction, sympathetic attitude towards the general public.
The role of public service agents in the prosperity and misery of a civilization is very important and if these agents are not properly trained morally, they impose destructive effects and consequences on society. In this study, ethics and the core of administrative and organizational human construction According to Imam Ali (AS), the Alawite system of government gives originality to moral values rather than bureaucratic and organizational culture.
