The Effect of Police Managerial Factors on Strengthening the Rule of Law among the Youth of Kermanshah
Law and legality is one of the main foundations of stability in human societies, which increases in importance every day with the increase of urbanization. Many institutions now have the task of legislating individuals in the community, one of which is the police force. The police are trying to do this with precautionary, preventive and countermeasures. The main purpose of this study is to determine the impact of police management factors on strengthening the rule of law among the youth of Kermanshah.
This research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-survey in terms of method. The statistical population of the research was 151-25 years old in Kermanshah in 1997 with 179015 people who using Cochran's formula 300 people formed the research sample size, of which 115 correct questionnaires were included in the data analysis. The data collection tool is a researcher-made questionnaire. The validity of the instrument was confirmed by experts and the reliability of the instrument was calculated by calculating the Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 0.96. Regression and Friedman tests were used to analyze and rank the data.
Findings obtained from inferential tests indicate that factors such as: compliance, cohesion, justice and participation in police management have an effect on strengthening the rule of law among the youth of Kermanshah. Among these, participation is in the first place and adaptation, cohesion and justice are in the second to fourth places, respectively.
Based on the ranking of 25 items of the questionnaire, the items of police use of mass media capacity, sincere relations between police and people based on religious teachings and police participation with non-governmental and governmental organizations had the greatest impact on the legitimacy of Kermanshah youth.
