Abstract:

High-rise building in urban landscape can be considered from several aspects. Research on this different affect can help urban designers and architects to improve the quality of plans for urban regions. On the one hand tall buildings can positively affect on the cities, on the other hand they can to cause disappear good looking of city or good landscape in the city. In this research, tow kinds of tall buildings, cluster and stand-alone tall buildings, are be compared to find their affect on the urban landscape. In order to analyze information and data, qualitative and quantitative methods have been used simultaneously. The SPSS statistical analysis software was used to analyze data. The findings of this study show that the aesthetic impact of single and cluster tall buildings should be distinguished; the effective dimensions of this building are different in the urban landscape. Individual towers with special form and tall cluster buildings can be easily harmonized with environmental proportions due to repetition and thus create a harmonious landscape.
