INVESTIGATING THE QUALITY OF QIRAAT OF HAMZAH IN THE RECITATIONS ATTRIBUTED TO AHL AL-BAYT (AS)
Quranic recitations are one of the necessary chapters for understanding and researching in the Quran. The recitations attributed to the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) are of special importance, at least for the followers of this denomination, due to their attribution to the leaders of the Shiite religion. There are different types of these recitations. One of them is reading Hamzah with tashil or takhfif. Some historical reports and principles of linguistics in the form of confirming this method of reading Hamzah and another group in the form of a challenge in its accuracy or approbation. Existence of narrations confirming this recitation, the revelation of the Qur'an without Nabrah (stress) in the Quraysh dialect and the agreement of this method of recitation with the drawing of the Mushaf and the pronunciation of Hamzah with stress are among the proofs. The lack of evidence and even the presence of instability in the text of some narrations, the distortion of the claim of monopoly of the revelation of the Qur'an in the Quraysh dialect based on conflicting narrations and the order of the third caliph in writing the Mushaf based on the Quraysh dialect have challenged these confirmations. The approximate confidence in the recitation of the Quraysh based on the tashil as well as the difficult pronunciation of Hamzah with tahqiq and the non-change of meaning and aid to fluency of the recitation, has caused some to consider this method of recitation better. The present study, using library resources and with a descriptive-analytical method and a critical approach, has examined the evidences and challenges of reading Hamzah in accordance with the narations attributed to the Ahl al-Bayt (AS).
