Cultural diplomacy and its place in the foreign policy of countries
Political, security and economic goals have always been one of the most important goals of countries in formulating and implementing their foreign policy. To achieve these goals, countries traditionally and traditionally engage in a kind of diplomacy based on political, military and economic approaches and tools. However, in the second half of the twentieth century, relatively new approaches to diplomacy were introduced, which advised foreign policy officials and designers to pay more attention and emphasis on cultural strategies and tools. This article intends to study this relatively new phenomenon in the field of foreign policy and international relations by explaining the principles of this approach and citing historical evidence and practical examples, and in this regard, discuss the various dimensions of the relationship between culture and diplomacy.
