An Investigation into the Rate of Attention to the Creation of Religious Beliefs and Tendencies in the Book «Religion and Life» of Twelfth Grade from the View of Teachers and Girl Students of Tabriz
The present study aimed to investigate the rate of the attention to the creation of religious beliefs and tendencies in the book «Religion and Life» of twelfth grade from the view of teachers and girl students of Tabriz. This study is a descriptive and survey research; thus, by the cluster sampling, first, two domains were selected from the domains of Education, then, two schools from each domain, and finally, two classes from each school. The total number of students was 247, and the data were gathered by a 25-item questionnaire and conducting open-ended interviews with limited students. 36 teachers working in five domains of Education of Tabriz were selected as the sample, and their data were collected by a 25-item questionnaire. The data were analyzed by the descriptive statistics, multivariate analysis of variance, Chi-Square test, and SPSS software. After reviewing the questionnaires, three components of commitment, responsibility, and modeling were inferred from the concept of religious tendency. According to the results, both the students and teachers believed that the book «Religion and Life» of twelfth grade had a positive effect on the creation of religious beliefs and tendencies. In addition, the students and teachers had different ideas about the rate of effect of this book on the creation of commitment, but they almost had same ideas about the rate of effect of this book on the creation of religious tendency and other components of it (responsibility and modeling).
